Baptist Union of Great Britain (BUGB)

ZBC is a member of the BUGB (www.baptist.org.uk) and the Eastern Baptist Association (easternbaptist.org.uk).

Baptist Missionary Society

BMS World Mission is a Christian mission organisation, working in around 35 countries on four continents. BMS personnel are mainly involved in church planting, development, disaster relief, education, health, and media and advocacy.

The links below are organisations ZBC communicates with.  It doesn't necessarily mean we always agree with what they do or say but we are never the less happy to promote them here.

Hope together
HOPE Together continues with the values started on HOPE 08, building on partnerships and encouraging the whole UK Church to get involved in word and deed mission in their communities.

Evangelical Alliance

The EA are the largest and oldest body representing evangelical Christians in the UK. For more than 165 years, we have been bringing Christians together and helping them listen to, and be heard by, the government, media and society.

                                                                                Find a church

In the New Testament there are two ways the word church is used. One is for the universal church, all the people in the world who claim Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.

The other is to describe a group of believers who band together as a community, a local body of believers.

Our purpose in researching and publishing the UK Church Directory is to help people get involved in a local church where they will feel wanted and can become actively involved in the church's life and activities, deepening their faith and exercising their spiritual gifts.

To quote Arlie Whitlow, pastor of Community Church in the U.S., "God wants you to belong not just to the universal church, but to have roots in a local church that meets regularly for worship. Why? God is glorified when we join together in relationship to serve him and be a witness for him. It also produces greater maturity because God uses our relationships to make us grow. If we have no meaningful connection with other believers, we're not growing.
